Bridge
Come play Bridge with us! All of our play is among friends and neighbors, so fun and congeniality are foremost. We offer a variety of play - social bridge, duplicate bridge and bridge training. And we offer these on different days and times - to make bridge games with the Riverwood Bridge Club more available to everyone.
All Bridge Sessions, except Practice Bridge, will be held in Spanish Halls II & III. Practice Bridge will be in Spanish Hall I. All sign ups are through SignUpGenius and the links will be distributed in the weekly e-mail announcing the games.
The club annual dues for new members are $15 per year and may be paid by placing a check in the Bridge Club binder in the clubhouse.
Social Bridge
Social Bridge uses Chicago Scoring and meets in Spanish Halls II & III.
- Afternoon: 1:00pm - 4:30pm every Thursday of the month. No partner needed. Sign up as individuals on SignupGenius is required.
- Evening: 6:30pm - 9:00pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. The evening program is paired, social bridge. Sign up as pairs on SignUpGenius.
Duplicate Bridge
Stimulating Bridge in a congenial atmosphere. With typically play 21 - 27 boards per session. Sign up with a partner on SignUpGenius.
- Every Monday in Spanish Halls 2 & 3 from 1:45 to 5:30. Sign up as pairs on SignUp Genius.
Practice Bridge
Practice Bridge: For learning, refreshing and confidence building. Informal playing with nurturing guidance. Some weeks are just for practice, and some may include instruction. Practice Bridge will meet from 9:45am - noon in Spanish Hall I the 2nd and 3rd Friday of each month. There is Bridge Training on the 3rd Saturday of every month. SignUp Genius is sent out for registration.
Bridge Club Library
The club maintains a small library of Bridge books, which are available for loan to members. Contact a club officer for more information or to loan a book.
