Men's Club

Our club’s mission is to provide social gatherings and fellowship for the men of Riverwood/Del Webb. It is also a Service Organization as we host community-wide events for all residents to enjoy, and we raise money to donate to local charities.
Club Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each Month.
We meet at 6:30 PM in the Ballroom where we serve attendees free beer and soft drinks along with snacks. The meeting begins promptly at 7:00 PM. Each meeting reviews current affairs of the club and at the majority of meetings a Speaker is provided. The Speakers are from a wide spectrum and range from people employed or previously employed in the field of Government, Law Enforcement, Local News Teams, Veterans Associations, and Local Sports Teams. We look to provide Speakers who will provide information, a bit of education and entertain.
We support our local community through charitable donations through our fundraising events. In the most recent year, 2024, we donated $34,000 to the St. Johns Veterans Council and our total donations for 2024 were $47,131. The total donations for the Club are at $390,826. Funds are generated from our November Golf Event, sales of Luminaries for Christmas Eve in Del Webb, Pancake Breakfast held each February and St. Patrick’s Day Dance. Along with working with HOA Events hosted by the Men’s Club. These include the 4th of July Cookout, Food service provided to augment the Music by the Pool events, and we annually honor our Veterans with a Veterans Day Ceremony held at Central Park followed by a brunch for all residents at the Anastacia Club.
Men’s Club members play an important role in planning the events, selling tickets to the event, purchasing the supplies, cooking and serving the food at these events. We also clean up and restore the kitchen and ballroom to its everyday setup.
We hope all Men’s Club members will volunteer to assist at events each year and we send out a Sign Up prior to the function. It is a great way to meet other members and raise money for local charities.
