Men's Club

Our club's mission is to provide social gatherings and fellowship for the men of Riverwood / Del Webb. It is also a Service Organization. We host community wide events for all residents to enjoy, and we raise money to donate to local charities.
The Men's Club has meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month, except December.
We meet at 6:30 PM in the ballroom to register and mingle. We serve free beer and snacks at all monthly meetings to get things started. The business meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Dues: $12 per year, for October 1 thru September 30th.

We support our community and local charities through our fund-raisin events. In recent years this amounts to more than $25,000 per year. In December 2018 we donated $35,000 to Dreams Come True of Jacksonville with funds generated from our November Golf Event and by selling Luminaries for Christmas Eve in Del Webb. We also generate funds by hosting community events. They include:
- Pancake Breakfast in March / Pasta Dinner in October / A Riverwood Golf Event
- HOA events hosted by the M. Club: 4th of July Cookout / Veteran’s Day Ceremony & Brunch

Men’s Club members plan the events, sell tickets, buy, cook and serve the food, set up tables, clean up the tables, clean up the kitchen, and move ballroom walls.
We expect all Men’s Club members to volunteer at several of these functions each year. It is a great way to meet other members and to raise money for local charities.
Some charities that we have supported include:
- Dreams Come True of Jacksonville
- Home Again St Johns / Dining with Dignity / St. Francis House / Gabriel House
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund / Ronald McDonald House / Apryle Showers (cancer support)
- K9’s for Warriors / American Legion / 5 Star Veterans Center
- FL Sheriff's Youth Ranches / Blessings in a back pack
- Salvation Army
